HITRUST (Health Information Trust Alliance) has published new version of Common Security Framework aka CSF. CSF provides organizations to achieve same standard for protecting healthcare information. The new CSF assurance certification requirements have the following major changes:

  • One control removed from the CSF assurance requirements.
  • Twelve controls added to CSF assurance requirements.
  • The new CSF is more in line with industry trends and suggestions from experts.
  • Common Health Information Framework (CHIP) questionnaire.
  • CSF compliance worksheet.
